My Lai why?

The My Lai Massacre also known as the SơnMỹ Massacre. Colonel Oran K. Henderson gave a command to the Vietnamese to leave or die in the city. On the morning of March 16 Charlie Company landed and started to kill everybody in the city, the American army were hidden underground the city and came by helicopters, they started a slaughter in the city, many women were raped and kids were shot civilians. Now I ask myself why did this happened?

Well because America thought that the Vietcongs was there that is why they told people to leave but they did not and that is why they got killed but then something went wrong the message never arrived to Captain Ernest Medina who were a former captain of the US army who was the commanding officer of the unit responsible for the My Lai Massacre order was to kill the enemy and the enemy could be everyone so the 03-16-1968 the slaughter began and the American people killed and had fun with it, they raped woman, killed them afterwards and killed the mothers and let their babies lie dying they killed about 5000 people and threw them into the wells to poison the drinking water. Also they killed old people and made everyone look foolish and then they got killed. Where was the North Vietnamese army? They never came to the battle because they were never warned about it. Out of nothing Vietnamese people were killed and also molested.
